Today, I’m making a public service announcement.

Below is the recipe for how to make a basic & good Aperol spritz.

We all need to do our part to spread this knowledge…

Trust me…

Your next party hosts will be far more appreciative if you whip up one of these.

Instead of bringing another six pack of hard seltzer.

I didn’t know what an Aperol Spritz was until a few years ago…

But those were the dark ages.

And now I’m enlightened.

INGREDIENTS

1. Aperol

2. Prosecco

3. Club Soda

4. Fresh orange slice

RECIPE

1. Put ice in a balloon glass

2. Add 3 parts Prosecco

3. Add 2 parts Aperol

4. Add 1 part soda (just a splash, really)

5. Use the orange slice as garnish

TWISTS

Swap Limoncello for Aperol.

Or if you want more dramatic flavor…

Swap Finocchietto (wild fennel liquor) for Aperol.
