💼 Portfolio Career

Meet Orianne Dutka. Lawyer, novelist, mom. “Early in my career, I did not realize that dual careerism was a legitimate option.” Check her daily schedule: morning run, shower, work on novel, go to post office, wordle…

⚡️ Productivity

Check out If This Then That (IFTTT). Customize and control your integrations with filter codes, queries, multiple actions. When NASA posts a new image, your phone will display them. Make your voice assistant more personal.  Turn on your security when you leave home.

💰 Money

Consider ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (ZIM). An Israeli-cargo shipping company and a top 20 carrier. Recently boosted its dividend 67%. Low valuation but check this thesis

📚 Books

Read Less by Andrew Sean Greer. A marvelously well-written, tour-de-world Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction. Experience the adventurous life and tumultuousness of Arthur Less as he travels the world to avoid attending his former lover’s wedding. Reflections on art, aging, life: “How can so many things become a bore by middle age — philosophy, radicalism, and other fast foods – but heartbreak keeps it sting?” My review.

🎵 Music

Listen to New York Pretending to be Paris by Eric Schorr. An intriguing collection of poems turned into songs. “They are poignant and sexy…each one has something to do with desire and/or memory,” he said. My favorite tracks: “French Novel” and “Liquid.” Check out his practice routine: compose vs. admin, create in evenings, etc.

📽️ Film

Watch Moonage Daydream directed by Brett Morgen. A cinematic odyssey exploring David Bowie‘s creative and musical journey. From a visionary filmmaker and sanctioned by the Bowie estate.
