Boundaries are great- but where do you draw the line? Developing artists/writers really benefit from guidance from peers… if they really are willing to listen. Perhaps this Ryan post is a great way to start assessing setting a boundary for yourself, the asset; to only letting people you instinctually believe are worthy of receiving, respecting and internalizing the brain pick, pick.

Hi Nicole, thanks for sharing your perspective. It can be hard to know where to draw the line. I struggle with that – finding time to create my own work/art vs. helping others create their own. But you make a good point to prioritize, and I’m indeed trying.
