7PS: Memento Mori 💀

by | Jul 10, 2022

This edition is 151 words and takes 1 minute to read.

We should start a book club or something:

  • I started reading books again. Here’s why.
  • More importantly, I started reviewing them so you can avoid paper cuts and a mounting nightstand.
  • Please LMK if you have a book suggestion – something I should review for the 7PS community. Even better if you want to review it 🙂

How to use Google search. Next time you google something type “reddit” after it. You may get better quality results, instead of the bevy of ads that increasingly intrude on the first page of results. Read The Open Secret of Google Search.

💰 Money

📚 Books

Read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. “Think of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now take what’s left and live it properly” he writes. I recently read this classic book from antiquity. After all, stoicism is very much in vogue these days and part of the literary zeitgeist. Marcus reminds us that we’re all mortal and pay little attention to what others think (unless for the public good). This is a book worth reading again and again. Here’s my review.

🎵 Music

Listen to Spirits Rebellious by Kabir Sehgal (hi), Amaan Ali Bangash, and Ayaan Ali Bangash. This is our first single from our forthcoming release Sand and Foam: Music Inspired by Kahlil Gibran.
